Dr Bill Mulcahy, who passed away on 28 Feb was a revered member of Bective.  A native of Co. Limerick he played rugby with Bohemians, UCD and Bective, earning 35 caps over his illustrious career, the first in 1958.

Round 13 – Leinster League Division 1A – Billed as a crucial penultimate fixture, this eagerly awaited home clash against Seapoint RFC was set to play a decisive role in determining the league champions.
