Bective produced a stunning 5 try second half performance to get back to winning ways against Gorey at Donnybrook last Sunday and ensure that the squad are still on course to retain the League title. This fantastic result means Bective with the momentum have joined the leaders at the top of the table. Bective and Seapoint are on 43 points, both just 3 points behind the League leaders Monkstown, who Bective play next on Sat 17 Feb away. More news to follow next week.
Bective's second half onslaught is too much for Gorey in Leinster League Division 1A fixture…

Annual Dinner 2024
The 2024 Annual Club Dinner is just 3 weeks away. The club dinner is always a fantastic night with great people and excellent guest speakers. This year President Michael Shalloe has invited the ‘The GMc’ team featuring ex Irish International Women’s Rugby Coach Greg McWilliams and Noughties Bective coach Nigel Osbourne to entertain the guests, discussing all things rugby from the serious to the ridiculous. Why not take a table with a few pals? The last few years have been a sell out so please book early, details below.

Ladies Lunch
The Ladies Lunch is on Sat 9th March 2024 at 2.30pm in the Clubhouse, Donnybrook in aid of Ronald McDonald House, Children's Health Ireland, Crumlin.
Tickets are €60 each and include a prosecco reception, lunch, raffle & DJ.

Results
U17s played brilliantly against a tough Coolmine side but lost 26-22 to an injury time converted try; they stay top with one league game left with the top 4 going into a league play-off semi-final later in February.
U15 drew 22-22 with Wanderers Away
U13 lost out to North Meath in the Cup
U12 played away in St Brigids and competed well winning 2 out of 4 matches
Bective seek coach for U20 team
Bective Rangers are seeking applications for the position of Head Coach of their Under 20’s squad for the 2024/25 season and future seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Create an environment that allows the team to develop their own identity and culture that is in keeping with Bective’s values and ambition.
Create good relationships with all club coaching staff, medical personnel, S&C teams and the players.
Conduct regular reviews with coaching teams and our Director of rugby against agreed KPIs.

Willingness to work with the club to recruit players.
