Bective mourns passing of John Doyle

The President, Executive Committee and members extend their sympathy to the family of the late John Doyle who passed away on 1 Feb.

John played with Bective in the 1970s and was among the many players from Greystones who joined Bective from the 1930s to the 1970s.  Among them was John's father Jack Doyle and his uncles Kevin and Jim.

John returned to Greystones and remained a committed 'Stones man to the end while always retaining his affection for Bective and for the strong bond that exists between both clubs.

Bective members are invited by the family to a celebration of John's life in Greystones Rugby Club on Wed 7 Feb from 2.30.
