WICKLOW VS BECTIVE

SAT 7 DEC | ASHTOWN LANE | LEINSTER LEAGUE 1A
1XV KO: 2PM | 2XV KO: 12.15PM

GENERAL UPDATES

A great weekend just gone at the club, with both the 1XV, 2XV and U20’s all winning their matches last Sunday. The 1XV had a big win over a physical Tullow side who took an early lead but a brace of scores either side of half-time put Bective in the driving seat to run out comprehensive winners. With Suttonians losing to Carlow, the win lifts Bective to the top of the league on 29pts with round 8 to come, away to Wicklow next Saturday. Please note the 2pm KO time and 12.15 pm for the 2XV.  It will be another massive game for the squad, as our opponents will be looking to bounce back after their loss to Seapoint last Sunday. Give your support to Tiarnan and the players on their great run of form by turning up in Wicklow on Saturday.

The ‘Your Club Your Country 2024 Draw closed on Monday morning and we are absolutely delighted to announce ticket sales of €10,571, beating the previous best figure of €10,330 sold in 2023.  This is a huge reflection of the commitment and generosity of our members, supporters and friends who purchased tickets this year and by doing so, added much needed funds to the running of the club. So, a big thank you to everyone who put their hands in their pockets and purchased tickets and fingers crossed for a Bective winner in the draw for one of the 10 fantastic prizes which takes place this Friday 6th December.

Always remember your support is key to the team’s success
