General Updates

Hello fellow Ranger,

Club President David O’Donnell passes on his best wishes to all the Bective members, families and our sponsors for the coming season.

The season really begins this Saturday with the 1XV, 2XV & 3XV teams are all in action and the Bective Mini’s are back training in large numbers on Sunday mornings. A big welcome also to all our new Mini members and their parents.  

Club Manager Mark O’Brien has the pavilion looking spic and span and has been busy stocking up the bar ready for all the thirsty Rangers to arrive. 
Both the 1XV & 2XV kick off their league campaigns away this Saturday over at our neighbours Monkstown FC, bringing together the reigning league champions and runners up from last season.

Leinster League Div 1A

Monkstown FC V Bective Rangers FC, Venue - Sydney Parade, KO 3pm, Sat. 17th Sept ‘22

Based on the recent games between both clubs, the opening match of the league has all the ingredients for another great contest. This match also doubles up for the Doyle Cup. 
It is a huge game for both clubs, so come along and support your club, see some great rugby and hopefully with your support the team will come away with all the points.
All the members wish Captain, Colin Jackson, Bernard Jackman and his Coaching Team, Physio, Kit Manager, all the Players including our new playing members, the very best of luck for the season ahead. Special welcome also to our new additions to the Bective Coaching Team, Louis Magee Jnr, Danie Poolman and Eoghan McKeever. 
The 3XV are at home versus Tallaght RFC (Madden Cup Quarter Final) on Sat 17th Sept in Donnybrook, kick off at 3.00pm. Best of luck to Captain Conor Comiskey, coaches Col Bathe & Ross Jones and all the players.

The Annual Bective Corporate Golf Outing takes place in Foxrock Golf Club on Friday 30th September.  Afternoon shotgun team event. Guest speakers: A chat with Bernard Jackman and Greg McWilliams, Ireland Women’s Head Coach, hosted by Nigel Osbourne.
