General Updates
On behalf of the President, Executive Committee and members of Bective, we would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Ryan family on the passing of Derek Ryan, who is the father of Ben Ryan, one of our senior players. May he rest in peace.
Another extremely busy weekend at the Club kicked off with the Spencer Cup Final last Thursday night in Donnybrook. In a lively match that ebbed and flowed, Monkstown prevailed on the night over Bective 24-21.
On St. Patrick’s Day, the Club hosted our own successful Cheltenham Gold Cup Day for the second year, followed by the Legends game in the early evening.
Saturday was the fourth and final Corporate Lunch of the season at the Club before the Grand Slam win at the Aviva. The event was hosted by President David O’Donnell, with our own world class MC John Breslin entertaining the guests before introducing guest speakers Rhys Ruddock and Trevor Hogan. Our Corporate lunches have consistently showed the best of Bective to our guests who are from the business world and sponsors too. We are grateful to all of our guests for their fantastic support which is vital to Bective.
This Saturday the Club hosts the Mini’s first Black Tie Ball at the Pavilion in Bective. The event is a great opportunity to dust off your black tie gear and dance the night away while supporting the Mini’s. If you haven’t got your ticket yet, please see the link below.

U14 - lost narrowly again versus Lansdowne 29-24. Another agonisingly close match which Bective just lost.
U10 - hosted DLSP and were very competitive in all matches winning the majority of them.
