The IRFU Grand Draw ‘Your Club, Your Country’, brought to you by Energia, is back for the 12th consecutive year with more great prizes to be won.
All funds raised goes directly to Bective Rangers FC.

General Updates
As you know it was a rest weekend for 1XV & 2XV to make way for the fantastic win for Ireland over South Africa at the Aviva, so it was left to Capt. Col Bathe’s 3 XV to fly the flag for the club in their Metro League Div. 8 clash with Navan on Fri night in Donnybrook.

Next Saturday the 1XV & 2XV resume their League campaigns out in Killiney where we meet title contenders from last season Seapoint RFC. This is another massive match for the Rangers so let's ensure we have the 16th man by giving your support to the team.

Metro League Div 8 - Ashbrook, Castleknock
Mini’s
U14's - Played away against Cill Dara. After a tough start they finished strong but were on the losing end, final score 41 -22. Marcus Kennedy and his coaching group have done a super job keeping this group together and have achieved some great results.
U10's - Played away in Terenure and were very competitive in all matches. The U10's are led by ex Bective No 8 Paul Hatton supported by a super group of coaches.
U6's/U7's - Played away in Seapoint. Head coach Justin White said Bective were among the best players, showing a better understanding than most.
Bective were also represented in their first Girls only blitz and they rose to the challenge showing the club in a super light. Congratulations to Head Coach Justin White and everyone involved in the U6/U7 group.

Corporate Lunch
The first of the Pre-match Autumn International lunches was held at the club prior to the Ireland v South Africa match last Saturday. The pavilion looked splendid with Irish and Springbok flags hanging from the rafters. The big crowd were served a lovely meal by caterer Vinnie Hanlon and his staff with our own Mark and Sharon kept busy serving all the non-wine drinkers. MC John Breslin spoke of the current Irish team members who came through the Bective mini’s. Immediate Past President Michael Flood thanked the sponsors for their generous support and how important their contribution is to the running of the club. Well done and thank you to Declan Lawler, Valerie Stein and Mark O’Brien for all their work in organising the lunch.
