This brilliant performance from the players keeps the team in 3rd place hot on the heels of the leaders. So please lend your support and head down the N11 to Wicklow and cheer on Bernard, Capt. Mattie and the players.

DIPS FOR DEREK

Senior Bective player Ben Ryan’s father Derek, sadly passed away earlier this year. Ben decided that he would like to do something worthwhile for cancer research in memory of his late father.

So ‘Dips for Derek’ was born with a ‘Go Fund Me’ page to donate with the swim event taking place at the Martello Tower in Seapoint last Sunday morning. A large crowd of family and friends attended which included a big group of Ben’s friends from Bective, all braving the freezing conditions and wading into the Irish sea to do their ‘Dip for Derek’.

Ben’s target is €15K and If you would like to still make a donation, see the Go Fund Me link below.
