BECTIVE vs SUTTONIANS

SAT 2 NOV | DONNYBROOK | LEINSTER LEAGUE 1A
1XV KO: 2.30 PM | 2XV KO: 1.00 PM

GENERAL UPDATES

With the club quiet on the rugby front last weekend and the break from the league also, last season’s finalists Bective travelled south to Mallow RFC for their first round All Ireland Jnr Cup fixture. Building on their recent great form it was another fantastic performance by the 1XV in this 6 try victory against the ‘23/ ‘24 Munster League Runners up, setting the squad up nicely for the important Leinster League fixture this Saturday against our northside neighbours Suttonians. Our opponents are leading the league currently and their supporters are expected to turn up in numbers so let’s ensure that we have all the Bective support possible in Donnybrook on Saturday if you can’t make the lunch , make the match.

The pre-match launch is already well booked so don’t miss out there is plenty of time to book in. Why not bring a few friends and experience a great day out in Bective and get behind the team, details below.

AWAY Gorey - The U12 team had an exciting trip to Gorey at the weekend! Playing four competitive matches and coming away with two wins is a solid result. It’s great to hear that Gorey were such welcoming hosts, too. With strong performances from all the Bective players and the increased number of matches they are playing, the development of the U12 squad is definitely on the rise. Keep up the good work!
