Matches this Weekend
Friday 17th
U11
 - HOME Wanderers - The U11's signed off the season with another strong performance against Wanderers with some super rugby across all their teams.

Sunday 19th
U13's
HOME DLSP - Dave Walsh Memorial Trophy. The U13's finished a super season by winning the Dave Walsh Memorial Trophy. It was great to have Julie Walsh back in the club for the presentation.
U15's HOME Wanderers. After a tough season The U15's had a super win against a Wanderers Barbarians team winning well in the end.

This weekend saw the end of another brilliant Mini & Youth Season. We were absolutely blessed with the weather and we had a couple of super stars down to give out medals to the players. Jamison Gibson-Park was down early for the younger teams and was unbelievably generous with his time taking photos and signing gear for them.

We were also so lucky to have Dan Sheehan and Jamie Osbourne down for the older players, again they were so brilliant with them, giving up time to take photos and sign jerseys and balls. Best of luck to all the lads this weekend, hopefully they can bring back the cup.

With any great day of weather a BBQ and an ice cream van is a must - luckily we had both! It was a super day out for all coupled with wins for the U13 and U15 teams playing on the last day of the season. A big thank you has to go out to all the coaches and volunteers in the Mini/Youth section who are there week in week out creating a massively positive environment for the kids to thrive and develop.

A Massive thank you also has to go out to Mike Ross for getting Jamison Gibson-Park down for the younger players, Mark O'Brien for helping to get Dan & Jamie down, Seamus Griffin for supplying all the burgers on the day and lastly our Club President Michael Shalloe for coming down on the day and our Exec committee in the club for supporting the Mini & Youth section throughout the season. Here's to the 2024/2025.

Bective Men’s shed

The ‘Bective Men’s Shed’ is for those retired members who can give an hour or two on a Thursday to devote to maintenance and development of our premises and for a meet up for tea/coffee.  We are keen to develop the rear of the pavilion so that it can be used during the summer months for outside eating/drinking and the group are currently working on this project.  The Men’s Shed meets on Thursdays at 12 noon in the clubhouse.
