It seems like only yesterday that Bective secured the bonus point over in Suttonians to win the Leinster League Div 1A last March. So, it was great to return to the same venue last Sat and witness the 1XV record an outstanding 6 try bonus point win on a ground that has been a challenging experience to say the least for Bective in recent years. A regular feature of Bective away games now is the level of support generated by the home team including a large attendance at pre match lunches as was the case on Saturday. Well done to all the Bective supporters who made the journey over to Sutton - your support means the world to the team. This bonus point win means Bective keep the pressure on leaders Monkstown and stay in second place in the League, just 1 point behind.

Final Score: Suttonians RFC 19 - 36 Bective Rangers FC.
Not to be outdone, the 2XV returned to their best form by also running in 6 tries to complete the double over Suttonians. The win now leaves the team 4th in the league and only 4 points behind the leaders.
Final Score: Suttonians RFC 0 - 38 Bective Rangers FC.
3XV v Emerald Warriors - unfortunately the game had to be cancelled on Sat due to an injury to an Emerald player. We wish the player a speedy recovery and look forward to meeting the Emerald Warriors again in the not too distant future.

We take a break from the Leinster League to play in the AIL Jnr Cup for the very first time this Saturday. Please come down and support the team in what will be a unique occasion as Bective and Enniskillen face up to each other for the first time in both clubs history.
Mini’s
The U14’s kept up their great form with a 39-0 win over Lansdowne FC. While the U13’s were unlucky to lose out to a strong Old Saints 15. The U9’s travelled up the mountains to Stillorgan / Rathfarnham RFC and did Bective proud playing in monsoon conditions. Unfortunately, the U6’s and U7’s matches were both cancelled.
*Please note that due to the traffic restrictions caused by Dublin City Marathon this Sunday 30th Oct, no Mini’s matches will take place in Donnybrook.
One fixture confirmed are the U11’s v Seapoint RFC, away Sun 30th Oct KO 10.45am
