As the 2021/22 Season comes to an end, we still have a couple of very important dates for your diary, the first been the Bective Rangers FC AGM which will take place in the clubhouse on Tuesday 31st May 2022 at 6.30pm. All fully paid up members are encouraged to attend this meeting where a formal review of the season gone by and the upcoming season will be presented. Mini's Rugby
On Sunday May the 15th we will celebrate the closing out of our minis Rugby season with a Barbeque and fun day for all mini players in the clubhouse
The U13’s were narrowly beaten by Blackrock in the final of the cup on Sunday Mat 1st 13 points to 12. A last minute penalty for Blackrock won the match for them after Bective had put in a great second half performance scoring 2 tries, the first by Captain Jools White and the second by number 8 Herbie Boyle. What was a huge disappointment for the U13’s does not take away from their hugely successful season winning the League and going so close to being unbeaten for the entire season. Thanks to all the parents, family, friends of the players, and President Mick Flood and his wife Audrey and all the Bective members who came to support the team. Many thanks to Mark in the bar and his team for facilitating a great post-match party for the team.
2022 - 2023 Yearbook
Due to Covid we have not produced a printed version of our Yearbook, We are currently redesigning the Bective Yearbook and we are planning on making the 2022/2023 edition the best one yet.
After our most successful season for many years, our Yearbook 2022/2023 will be packed with interesting articles and great photos.
We are therefore looking to our members, their families and friends to become sponsors for advertisements in the Yearbook. This is a great way to support our Club while advertising your business.

Sunday 29th May @ 10.30 am - a little longer, 17kM – Bective Club House – along the Dodder, north, to Pearse Bridge – turn right through Terenure & Harold’s Cross to the Grand Canal – left, along the canal to Grand Canal Dock – coffee break – back via the Dodder to Bective - 3/3.5Hrs approx.

Bective Golf Society
A Big thank you to all members and guests who braved the elements last Friday at Woodbrook Golf Club for the annual Bective Golf outing incorporating the Barniville Cup. A great evening had by all and a special thank you goes out to our Bective Golf Society Committee for all the work put into organising this event after a two year break due to covid restrictions..
Congratulations goes out to John Behan who won the individual prize and the Barniville Cup. John will now put a team together to represent Bective Rangers FC in the Lorcan Sherlock Cup held annually at the Grange Golf Club. Congragulations also goes out to John Behan, Mick Walsh, Mick Flood and Jack McEvoy who were the winners of the Team Prize.
