A big thank you to all the members who supported the club by purchasing ‘’Your Club Your country’’ tickets and in the process bringing much needed revenue to Bective. With a bit of luck we will have a Bective winner in the draw which takes place this Friday, further details on IRFU website.
On the rugby front it was another great weekend for the club with the 1XV, 2XV & 3XV all winning their games.
The 1XV as stated last week have never had it their own way against Gorey with both matches last season close affairs. On Saturday the supporters witnessed a terrific battling performance coming from behind to take not only a 5 point victory but also a 5 pointer in the league table. The win with other results going our way mean Bective lead the League on 29pts with our nearest rivals Monkstown on 24pts. Well done to the 2XV as they got back to winning ways, holding off a spirted Gorey team and record a winning bonus point victory.

3XV. Fantastic performance by Col Bathe and his team, in a great match on the back pitch last Friday recording the bonus point win over previously unbeaten League leaders Railway Union.

U14's - Lost away to a big Ashbourne side 47-19.
U13's - Won 50 - 0 at home to Ratoath. Congratulations to Niall O'Doherty and his team of coaches.
U12's - Were at home hosting DLSP. Both teams competed very well against DLSP.
U9's - Were away to DLSP. All teams played some great rugby and were very competitive.
U6/U7 - Were away to Belvedere . The teams continue to improve with every match they play under the guidance of head coaches Justin White and Jamie Nolan.
