Other Team Updates

1XV: After winning the Leinster League 1A Playoff, we had to wait to see how the AIL Leagues unfolded. With Enniscorthy winning the Round Robin and a max of 1 Leinster team potentially being relegated from AIL 2C (i.e. Seapoint), this guarantees our participation in 1A next season.

2XV: The 2nds lost out in the Jim Byrne Cup FINAL on Sat 6th April 12-27 to a strong Ashbourne side. Check out the photos of this game on our Facebook Page.

3XV: Narrowly lost 8-3 to CYM RFC in the Winters Cup. Hard luck lads!

4XV: Lost the Metro Div8 League Final to Athy RFC 15-10 on Sat 6th April. The J4s still have the O’Connor Cup Final to come.

U20s: It all came down to the last game of the league vs Clontarf. The U20s had to prevent Clontarf getting a Bonus Point win but it was not to be. Clontarf won the league by a solitary point over Bective.

The Harry Gale Cup was up next but a tough challenge of UCD awaited the 20s in Round 1 and the score line was not in our favour, losing 23-13 on the day. A great season overall!

Mini’s: The Minis Table Quiz was a great success with approx 100 people participating and lots of funds raised. Our U14s enjoyed a fantastic tour in Italy last weekend with a great game vs Valpolicella RFC.
